Overall, Gnar sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Lee Sin. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This negative change shows that Lee Sin helps Gnar perform worse in competitive LoL rounds. Yet, the small difference indicates that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Gnar plays on the same team as Lee Sin, he sees a small increase in his full damage output. This may signal that Lee Sin helps provide protection for him to deal more damage or that his participation also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Gnar is played alongside Lee Sin on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing alongside Lee Sin.
Moreover, when Gnar plays with Lee Sin on the same team, he typically receives a little less damage than when he fights alone. Receiving not as much damage could mean that Lee Sin does a decent job of protecting Gnar during team fights.
There is no ideal ally for Gnar that will 100% of the time be his ideal ally. Yet, Lee Sin is a not very good ally for Gnar. By locking into the same team as Gnar, he decreases their win rate by -3.0% to 45.0%. This proves that there is a bad strategic relationship between Gnar and Lee Sin that results in them performing worse together than alone.
Lee Sin has a lower difficulty than Gnar. That means Gnar players don't need to be careful when enlisting Lee Sin teammates to play with, as they will need a lower level of skill to be able to fight well with you.
When playing on the same side, Gnar players will likely see an overall large increase in your team’s capability to dish out massive AD. When paired, these two should be able to take down targets with auto-attacks and other AD damage abilities.
Although, by bringing Gnar and Lee Sin together, you probably will not be giving your team a great deal of magic damage. Make sure to include other champions on your team that fills this relative hole in this pairing's playstyle.
